Watson
IBM Watson is a computer system that can answer questions posed in natural language. It was developed by a research team led by David Ferrucci as part of IBM's DeepQA project. The system was named after IBM's founder, Thomas J. Watson. Initially, Watson was designed to compete on the quiz show Jeopardy!, where it competed against champions Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings in 2011 and won the first place prize of $1 million.
