Outpainting
What is outpainting with artificial intelligence?
The term "outpainting" was originally coined by University of Toronto professor Richard S. Sutton in reference to a specific type of artificial intelligence algorithm. Outpainting algorithms are designed to generate new data points based on existing data points. In other words, they are used to create new examples based on existing examples. For example, an outpainting algorithm could be used to generate new images based on a set of training images or expand an image in any direction based on the original image. Outpainting algorithms are typically used for image generation and expansion, but they can also be used for other tasks such as natural language processing and music generation.
Outpainting can be considered a new form of art that uses artificial intelligence to generate or expand images. It shows great promise as a tool for creating beautiful, unique artwork.
