Jessica Livingston

Jessica Livingston (born February 5, 1972) is an American author and a founding partner of Y Combinator, a seed stage venture firm that has funded over 3,000 startups. She also organizes Startup School, a free online course for aspiring entrepreneurs. Before co-founding Y Combinator in 2005, she was the VP of marketing at Adams Harkness Financial Group, an investment bank. She has a B.A. in English from Bucknell University and is a graduate of Phillips Academy Andover. She is the author of Founders at Work: Stories of Startups' Early Days (2007), a book of interviews with famous startup founders.
